I am undoubtedly a sucker for anything Coach. I am also a sucker for anything pretty that I can use with my electronics. Cute and fashionable laptop sleeves are a hard find. Sure there are plenty of sleeves to choose from but they often sacrifice style for durability, or vice versa.
Look no further though! Coach has three very sturdy and fashionable laptop sleeves to choose from. Now expect to pay $50 + for these chic laptop sleeves but this is what any good quality case or sleeve will typically run you.
Poppy graffiti print sleeve
Poppy solid print sleeve

Varick nylon sleeve

Visit http://www.coach.com to check out their laptop sleeves and other travel accessories.

After hearing about a show from MTV that makes the best drinking game, I was curious about Jersey Shore. Upon seeing a preview where a female member of the cast gets punched in a bar, I absolutely had to see it. By the powers of the internet, my wish came true and I have willingly watched three or four episodes of this garbage. It would seem that MTV ditched music long ago for a trashier approach. It's like new show is so shameful to watch, but when you find yourself channeling surfing late at night, you cave.
If you're eyes have yet to be graced by this classy show, it is about a house-full of Italian-Americans that refer to themselves with the slang term guido or guidette. The main characteristics of a guido or guidette is a dark tan, ridiculous hair (lots of product), huge muscles, and a general fake look. They are typically from New York, Jersey, and the tri-state area. Does this not sound like your show?
Anyway, the real value of this show is that apparently guidos and guidettes seem to lack the class that most other human beings have. The show follows the cast as they stay at the Jersey shore to they hit the club, fist pump, try to score, and complain about work your grandma could do for 12 hours.
Honestly, this show is pretty funny in a sense. It is like something Jerry Springer might host. To watch the mentality level of the cast is quite up lifting as well. The popularity is something of a question to me. Are people into this like the Real World, or do they find it humorous because it is such trash like myself. I began to wonder as I browsed Twitter last night and spotted the trending topics: #JerseyShore and Jersey Shore.
Seriously, this crap is so bad that it just might be good. Kind of like those gamer reality shows that are now popping up. Ugh, that is another post entirely! Good day!

I love talking about Macs to pretty much anyone that asks or that will listen. In elementary school and junior high, the labs all had the original iMacs. Yes, the beautiful colored ones with the ridiculous round mouse. I had always wanted a Mac of my own but being a teenager living with parents, you don't get much of a choice. My parents immediately wrote them off as "not as good as a pc" or "if they break there is no way to take it apart and fix it". Thinking about these excuses and misconceptions now, makes me laugh. Macs are more mainstream now but there are still people who have these misconceptions. It wasn't until I began dating my current boyfriend (BobaFettucini), that I was able to become reacquainted with the Apple name. I fell in love with his iMac and I set out to ditch my giant Sony Vaio laptop, and go Mac. I am now MacBook Pro and iPhone user.

An update has been a long time coming. I've been somewhat off the radar since last semester. I wanted to fully enjoy my break so I made an effort to spend little time on the computer and more time hanging out with friends and of course, gaming! This semester I'm taking 16 semester hours with two online classes, and so far it hasn't been bad... but who knows?
Anyway, over the holiday I acquired a few new gadgets that I plan on reviewing. I am also working on some articles for The Start Screen. I am really excited to give my opinion on Apple's new Magic Mouse, which I was initially not really interested in. As well as, Lady Gaga Heartbeats headphones by Dr. Dre, and the new iPod Nano. Oh, and I also got a new car because the ol' Jetta was starting to take a crap. I'll probably write up a little blog about the Kia Forte.
The completely unrelated picture at the top of this blog is from my "intro to computers" class. It is a requirement for my core curriculum and it is painful. No, really... it is. I am glad this class is helping people who are less familiar with computers, but come on! A requirement? There should be some way around this. It's almost as bad as keyboarding, which is a requirement for some associates degree majors. SRSLY? I HERD TEH INTERWEBZ ID HARD.
Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 6:59PM On November 7, Nick (@BobaFettucini) and I attended Star Wars in Concert in Charlotte. We arrived at what we thought was early but turns out the website and tickets were all wrong. Doors apparently opened at 6. We checked out the souvenirs quickly before sitting down. We had great seats right above the floor seating. The venue was a sea of Star Wars fans... and small children. Obnoxious small children that is.

Yesterday, Apple finally released their newest iMac. If you are familiar with Apple and their products, you would know that they try to update their products at least every seven months. Earlier this summer, the MacBook Pro had their time, and now it was time for the iMac. Not only did Apple present us with the best looking iMac to date, but they presented us with the new Magic Mouse, white MacBook, Mac Mini, and Apple remote.
The new iMac is easily the best looking display. They've made it possible to take the glass to the very edge of the screen, making it a much larger display.
I'm not sure how I feel about the new white MacBook... It kind of reminds me of an ugly Honda Civic coupe. with that big rounded edge. Meh. I also feel indifferent about the Magic Mouse... Probably because I have a multitouch track pad on my MacBook. It is really awesome, but if I need it. I have it. The Magic Mouse is really cool but I'm weird and I have a problem with mixing aluminum with white... Just doesn't match!
Now, what I do love... is the Apple remote! I've been waiting for a new one to match my MacBook Pro!
As always, Apple makes wonderful products!

As some, or most of you may know, GameGirl and the rest of BlogFaction have seen the end of their days. It was really abrupt news, but what can ya do? I enjoyed my time writing for GameGirl and I especially am thankful for the opportunities that came with it. E3 2009 was probably one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have met so many wonderful people in the gaming community because of GameGirl... and I have met some of the best friends ever!
I've also decided I will continue you my writing for TheStartScreen.com and my blog, of course. I will also be focusing on video reviews and vlogs on Youtube. You can find my channel in the links on the sidebar (to your right, silly!).
I'm working on a ton of stuff right now... so hold tight!
AND LASTLY!
I've added a new page, located in the navigation bar. I added the GameGirl Portfolio page, so check it out. Since GameGirl is no more I didn't want my writing to disappear with the site. I've backlogged every important article of mine. I left out a lot of cheesy news and fluff. So you will find a collection of work I put a lot of work and passion into. Clearly, there are not many. I can't really say I feel extremely passionate about relaying news... I can, however, say I feel very strongly about the reviews, previews, and top 7 lists, I contributed to GameGirl.com.
You can find them in order (most recent to last), with their original month featured in ((these)). So if you're interested in seeing my favorite pieces I contributed to GameGirl, click the GameGirl Portfolio button... NOW!
